MUD RUN
¨Hudson, Hudson, Hudson, Hudson¨ yells COLAB as I was the first person to finish a lap of the mud run. ¨So close¨ I thought as I was meters away from the finish. I got to the finish with relief and joy. I waited for about 5 minutes until Ms G let some other people go. When they got into the mud I started to go again. We went for about 3 minutes until Sheraz and Cameron got stuck! So I had to help them out of the mud (which was hard) and carried on. We were running smoothly until we were nearly at the end. That meant we had to go through the 4 meters (I think) of DOOM! 3..2..1.. SPLAT!!! There was no turning back... We had to heave and pull so hard I thought my arms were going to fall off! In a matter of time I was out of the DOOM mud and was nearly finished my second lap.
I finished my second lap and was going on for my third lap. The third lap was a lot colder and harder because 1. We had to wait in line to get into the mud. 2. The mud has been used by everybody else so it is a lot harder. I was nearly at the end of my third lap until I saw about 10 people stuck! So I helped about 5 of them until I got stuck myself and somebody had to pull me out. ¨Just one more lap just one more lap¨ I whispered to myself as I was edging to the finish of my third lap. ¨YES!¨ I said as I just got to do another lap. There was only a couple of people left so we went quite fast.
About 5 minutes later I was edging to my fourth lap. STOP! I stopped suddenly to one of the parents that came on camp with us was right in front of us. ¨Everyone out.¨
¨Why?¨ I heard from behind me. We all got out and waited. ¨That was the most funnest thing of my life.¨
Super Proud of you Hudson! You can do anything! Mr R :)
